Until It Passes

Until It Passes

Saturday - 03/27/2021 — My friend Marcia and I were talking recently about how much our attitudes about house-cleaning have changed since the pandemic hit. Actually, we both discovered that we (like many, many other people) tended to clean up/pick up/tidy up only when we expected company. Because we’re both self-isolating voluntarily, though, we now have almost no company whatsoever—and haven’t had for the past year.

Still, every once in a while, I look around my living room (or bedroom or dining room or den…) and wonder if maybe I ought to at least pick up a little.

Luckily, reading always makes those nefarious urges go away.
